Safari Tents

Barefoot Glamping at Chymder Farm on the Lizard Peninsula Cornwall offers the finest luxury camping in two spacious safari tents, only a few minutes’ drive from two fabulous beaches and within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Set in a meadow of seven acres, Hobie and Woody sit on raised wooden platforms, outside you have your own BBQ area, a wooden windbreak and an outside decking area to sit, relax and take in the views.

From the parking-area, it is a short wheelbarrow walk through the mown path, ensuring the meadows remain peacefully car-free. There is a small honesty shop on site with local produce, including milk, bacon, local pasties and ice cream

Glamping site & floor plans

The safari tent really lived up to our expectations, it was large enough for four adults and two children and was beautifully decked out with a stylish, yet rustic feel. The facilities, including the wood burning stove, the shower/wet room and the beds were all lovely and really gave the right balance between having an outdoor/adventurous feel we wanted combined with some luxury to aid relaxation. The location was great as well. Our whole party were very impressed and the owners were very helpful too. Would highly recommend to any future glampers.”
